Do We Really Need Preachers?

Over the course of history Satan has re-inverted old tactics used in times past, into the frame work of this day in which we live. Back in the beginning of time we find Satan deceiving Eve in the garden by just changing God's word a small fraction. As time expanded we see Satan working his way into the religious arena expressing that men of education and high intellect were to be used to teach the Holy writ to unlearned ignorant men. Thus, giving this religious group the opportunity to insert their confused ideas and false doctrines that have since become the bed rock teaching of many main-line churches today. Even though Satan was accomplishing his works of deception, God was also continuing His plan and purpose by using men of His choosing to fulfill that which He had already fore-ordained. The practical principal that we must be aware of in this setting is, "Satan's desire is to see the Word of God destroyed to the utmost, but on the other hand God must have a desire as well for He continues to work in men to see His word fulfilled." This brings forth the question, "where is Satan going to be manifesting his deception the most today?" Will he be found deceiving those that are already deceive, or will he be working within the ranks of those that are claiming to be walking in the light of God's truth? (II.Tim. 3: 13-14, II.Tim. 4:16).

Through the dedication of early writers we are brought up to date of tactics that took place in the past. Taking time to study past church history you will see how the religious system tried to keep the unadulterated word of God from the people, by declaring that they were the only qualified source for teaching the gospel. As time progressed we can see that these men were not qualified by God, but by educated men. For this cause, God had to send messengers to every age in order to deliver the Word of God in its purest form back into the hands of the people. Thus, these people (which are called believers) were to continue in the truth. Expounding, edifying and preaching the truth as it had been brought to them by the Anointed Prophets. Apostle Paul in II.Tim. 4:2-5 says,

II TIMOTHY 4:2

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Apostle Paul wasn't forbidding Timothy to preach, but he was encouraging him to continue in that which he had been taught. For he seen how the false teachers would come in deceiving the people.

It’s sad to say, but the knowledge of this end-time truth that has so generously been delivered to us as a people, causes many to obtain their own ideas and become deceived within their minds. There is a well-known individual among us that claims he believes the doctrine taught in Eph 4: 11, yet on the other hand rejects it for fear of false anointed ministries. Declaring that he is not against the true, God ordained ministry, but on the other hand these God ordained ministers may lead the flock astray, because the word says that the rain falls on the just and the unjust. This is true the rain does fall on the just and the unjust, but that can't make the just, "false anointed ones." If the ministry that is preaching the unadulterated truth of God's word is ordained by God (Himself) how could it be false? Anything that God ordains unto Himself isn't going to be of a false anointing.

By insinuating his claim he brings up the question, "how will you be able to recognize the right from the wrong?" His answer is, "by listening to the message tapes." There are many people listening to message tapes that have no revelation on right and wrong. Right and wrong is one of the greatest arguments among the people declaring they are following this message. The correct additive must be added in order to have the leadership of "right and wrong," and that is the Holy Ghost! Without the Holy Ghost leading and guiding, none of us would have accepted the end-time truth that was delivered to us. It takes the Holy Ghost to make it real in our lives, it doesn't come just by listening to tapes.

Consider those that have never heard of William Branham, much less message tapes. Are we going to leave it up to the main-stream denominal ministries to get the message out of what God has done in our day? Are we to lead people to William Branham or to Christ? People that have never heard or never understood must have a revelation of who Jesus Christ is first. Any other way is contrary to the gospel. Jesus declared that "upon this Rock I will build my church". Knowing who He is! This is when God can reveal His truth to those that are hungering and thirsting after righteousness.

The first church age messenger ask the same question in the book of Romans.

ROMANS 10:13-15

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Ephesians chapter four, verse eleven sets God's ordained way of doing things in order. He never dismissed the ministry after a prophet of God went off the sence, but beseeched them to continue preaching the gospel till we all come into the unity of the Faith, and that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro carried about with every wind of doctrine. It seems this Laodicean church age has developed many winds of doctrine that is causing the church to toss like a ship in the eye of the storm. Why? Could it be that they are leading the flock to William Branham, rather then to Christ? How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed, and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? How shall they accept the ministry that God for-ordained before the foundation of the world without a understanding of why and how God did it? Do we build a house from the roof down, or must a foundation first be laid, and began the framing process? Therefore, the Holy Ghost must first be had before a understanding of the tapes can be received.

Is this denying that the gospel is on the tapes? Not at all. What it is saying, "is now that you have a fundamental foundation of who Christ is, "and how you died with Him, how you arose with Him, how you are a heir with Him, how you are chosen by Him, how you are received of God through Him." You can now receive the spiritual blessings that have freely been given, and that blessing is the message of hope and deliverance for your hour. But how can we hear, understand and grow in the benefits of these blessings without a Preacher? Any other way would be contrary to God’s acceptable Will. May God bless you!
